Carrer Nou, Girona

Nou street project, with energy certification.

In 2015, we were encouraged to do a very special rehabilitation, a PEnerPHit Energy Certified Building, granted by the Passive House Institute. The Passivhaus standard combines high thermal comfort and energy efficiency with minimal cost savings.

Homes with good quality of interior air thanks to an efficient renovation with heat exchanger. Excellent control of the internal temperature with high level of uniformity.
Very bright homes with a large living-dining room overlooking the street Nou, south facing, outdoor kitchen, shared terrace between the living room and the kitchen, 3 large bedrooms, 2 of them with dressing room and bathroom , sink and laundry. There was the possibility of incorporating a fourth bedroom. All homes have cross ventilation.
The entrance bedroom Allows you to add use as an office without interfering with the operation of the house.
All the houses have their own warehouse in the Replà of the elevator.
The house on the fifth floor is a duplex that incorporates the low wooden deck, with a single south-facing space with access to a terrace.

A rehabilitation work that not only represents the opportunity to live in the heart of Girona, but to do it in a completely new floor and certified with the PASSIVE HOUSE standard.

Rehabilitation with demanding quality parameters, high levels of thermal insulation and air tightness. The Passive House standard combines high thermal comfort and energy efficiency with minimal cost savings. The result is a functional and comfortable home to the maximum, with the intention of becoming a benchmark in efficiency and sustainability.

Its location, next to the Rambla, emblematic in the old quarter of Girona, makes it unique. Their situation is not their only value. The high level of demand of the project is also evident in the interior and finishes of the homes.
