Single-family house Project B7
Single-family house in the region of Girona
This is the project of a building for single-family housing in PGA Catalunya Resort. The building is projected externally as a single compact volume, with horizontal lines integrated into the landscape.
The volume is configured in a rectangular orientation facing south, optimizing the correct lighting and golf views.
The geometry of the building is austere and rotund, with two floors above ground and a basement. A series of interior patios are included, some of them up to the basement and the rest on the same ground floor.
Given the orientation of the plots with respect to the views over the Golf and the arrangement of the adjacent plots with a markedly longitudinal direction, the house is arranged along the plot with two distinct sides.
The north side, without golf views, is formalized with a porticoed access in which two side patios appear, one on each side of the ground floor. The east and west sides, without golfing views, are formalized with a completely opaque enclosure, with openings only in the side walls leading to the outdoor terraces and the vegetable patios.
The south side, with the best views over the Golf, is conceived with three large glazed openings giving way to a collected terrace with optimal lighting on which the housing pool is centered.
